Autumn: Maintain feeding to build tail fat reserves ahead of winter; 2–3 times per week.

Autumn: Maintain cultures at room temperature. Continue commercial diet only.

Autumn: Continue regular feeding. Monitor for pupation and separate beetles from larvae.

60% playsand, 30% organic topsoil, 10% excavator clay. Top with rocks and dry bark.
Setup Notes
Keep substrate mostly dry with a humid microclimate under a rock or in a burrow. Provide deep substrate (4-6 in) for burrowing. Ensure excellent drainage and a warm basking spot.
