Autumn: Harvest remaining larvae. Colony activity decreases with shorter days.

Autumn: Maintain cultures at room temperature. Continue commercial diet only.

Spring: Increase feeding as temperatures warm; offer appropriately sized insects 3–4 times per week, dusted with calcium.

By accessing or using The Reptile Atlas ("we", "us", or "the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
The Reptile Atlas is a free, educational reference platform for reptile species information, including habitat data, feeding guides, and optional personal collection tracking. The app is provided for informational and hobbyist purposes only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice.
User Accounts
Creating an account requires a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
User Content
Any data you enter — such as feeding logs, breeding records, or genetics notes — belongs to you. You retain ownership of your content. By entering it into the app, you grant us a limited license to store and display it back to you within your own account. We do not share, sell, or use your content for any other purpose.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any unlawful or harmful purpose
- Attempt to access another user's data or disrupt the service
- Upload or transmit malicious code or harmful content
- Scrape, copy, or republish species data for commercial use
Intellectual Property
Species information and reference text are curated for educational use. Species photographs are sourced from Wikimedia Commons and Unsplash under their respective open licenses and remain the property of their original creators.
Disclaimer of Liability
The app and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Care and husbandry guidance is general in nature; always consult a qualified reptile veterinarian for species-specific medical advice. We are not liable for any harm to animals, property, or persons resulting from the use of information provided in this app.
Third-Party Integrations
The app optionally connects to Google Calendar and Google Tasks for feeding reminders. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We only request permission to create events or tasks on your behalf and do not read or store your personal calendar data.
Termination
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Profile page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
