Autumn: Maintain feeding to build tail fat reserves ahead of winter; 2–3 times per week.

Autumn: Maintain cultures at room temperature. Continue commercial diet only.

Autumn: Continue regular feeding. Monitor for pupation and separate beetles from larvae.

Spring: Increase feeding as temperatures warm; offer appropriately sized insects 3–4 times per week, dusted with calcium.

Peak nocturnal activity. Feed nightly, 5-7 insects. Provide fresh water — desert species dehydrate quickly.
Appetite tapers. Feed every 2-3 days, 3-5 insects. Prepare for winter slowdown.
Brumates and eats little. Offer 2-3 insects weekly; if refused, maintain cool conditions and hydration.
