Ferguson Zone & UVB
The Ferguson Zone system categorizes reptiles by their natural UVB exposure needs, guiding lighting choices.

10% T5 HO UVB bulb over half the enclosure. Halogen basking bulb. 12–14 hr photoperiod in warm months, 10–12 hr in cool months.

Overhead halogen basking bulb. Ceramic heat emitter for supplemental nighttime heat if temperatures drop below 65°F.

Setup Notes
